We are delighted to announce that Richard MacDonald will be receiving the accolade of Knight in one of the earliest Orders of Chivalry in the world – the Royal Order of Constantine the Great and Saint Helen, founded in honor of Roman Emperor Constantine the Great in 320 AD.
So, in addition to such titles as artist, sculptor, teacher, mentor, and philanthropist, Richard will also be adding the title “Sir” to his name and we couldn’t be more thrilled for him!
Nominated by Dr. Sir Bill Dorfman, Richard is being recognized as a result of his outstanding professional accomplishments, generosity in support of philanthropic activities and important contributions to society. He is both delighted and humbled by this prestigious nomination to knighthood.
The ceremony of Investiture will be conducted at a formal dinner later this month in Beverly Hills, California.
